![]() The Quiet Before the Storm | The Quiet Before the StormThe world sets upon the brink of reaping what we've sown, The waste of all that's sanity will leave mankind to groan. When knowledge without wisdom rules, then every child will pay. The schools of fish, the seals, the whales, all prophecy our day. A storm is gaining power, my friends, through inhumanity. Just as sure are the signs as shown on any sea. The winds of waste do blow, my friends, and every ear will hear. The clouds of our pollution are visions ever clear. And through our own indifference we call the storms of hell. Yes, through our own insanity, we'll reap the whirlwind's wail. Beyond this storm the wings of love await the chosen few, Who care about their fellowman, and all life will be new. |
