The Ring of LifeWhen the ring of life is broken, then man's sorrow comes to stay, And the darkness of tomorrow can be seen by acts today. When life's force becomes a trivia in the games that people play, Then our children reap the whirlwind of tomorrow's darkened day. For life's ring is more than sacred; it's the breath in each new day. In the balance of creation, we can find our chosen way. For love is life and life is truth, and truth will find a way. But we must work together, yes we must work and pray. And with the gifts of knowledge through greed has caused our day. Yet, with the use of wisdom, technology gives way To honest, pure desire, and a bright and clear new day. P.E.A.C.E., Paradise, Earth and Community Effort is the way. |
The above painting is pen and ink on paper and is 12 inches by 18 inches, called "Earth's Song" and is sold with the accompanying poem "The Ring of Life". The art and poem will be reproduced on an 18 x 24 inch art board. (Artwork will be 12 x 18 on the top with poem reprinted on the bottom.)
