The Eye of Mary When I think of Jesus, I think about a babe, Born unto a virgin, with a world to save. Born in a stable among the cows and sheep. I picture a manger where Christ fell to sleep. I think of a young boy whose wisdom awed the wise, Upon the holy temple steips. Christ opened up their eyes. I think of all the miracles Christ did while he was here. He healed the blind, the crippled, washed lepers, clean and clear. And when I think of how Christ raised Lazarus from the tomb. My heart knows joy that fills my soul, with the great bride and groom. And when I think of how Christ paid the price for all our sins. My soul cries out, my heart is touched to know through Christ we win. I think of all the prophets from Adam to this day. And how our Savior guides them, as they did fast and pray. I think of worlds undending, made by God's true Son. He goes to make a place for us when we become as one.

The above Sculpture is a 4ft 2in wide by 6ft 8in high, 2 and 3 dimensional, diamond-shaped sculpture called "The Eye of Mary" and is sold with the accompanying poem "The Eye of Mary".

I was talking to my son one time last year, and he told me of an idea for a painting of an eye with the reflection of the crucifixion of our Lord, Jesus Christ, within the reflection. I chose to think of the eye as the eye of Mary looking upon her hurt and torn son from the foot of the cross. I believe her soul flowed deep with tremendous waves of sweet memories and great sorrow. I believe sorrow of such depth, only a handful of souls have come close in our whole world's history. I believe every person upon this earth must try to appreciate what Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God, has done and is doing for us. His examples of compassion, wisdom, understnading, and, in short, every facet of mortal life, even unto including and beyond death, are with us in the scriptures. His eternal presence has spoken unto us from the beginning of adam and unto the end and beyond all things. His example and advise is and has always been to help us find happiness and peace through perfecting our lives, with this ultimate goal: "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect."
