![]() The Tree of Life |
| Shine With the Sun Well, put down your sorrows, don't wait for tomorrow, Shine with the sun while it's here. Just smile with your brother, and love one another, And be what you've longed to be for years. Sometimes when I feel sad, and make others feel bad, I'm searching and see only me. But, if I look outward, peace comes to me, inward, and sunshine is all around me. Don't drown in your own strife, loose yourself and find life. Treasure your blessings to share. Everyone has cares. Help someone and take theirs, The burden will be lighter to bear. Forget that you need love, remember your God above, He'll give you all that is due. For if you serve mankind, someday soon you will find, You've served the Master and you. |
"The Tree of Life" is 8 ft.by 6 ft., weighs about 100 pounds and is made of scrap carpet and other recycled material.
The tree represents the pure love of Christ and the Father's gift of knowledge and wisdom through the holy word found in the scriptures. The 12 white pearls around the edge of the tree represent the 12 apostles of our Lord.
The center heart shape represents the pure love of Christ. My wife gave me this heart from among her special treasures. To me, the butterfly has always meant the freedom and beauty of nature's love. The man and woman represent those of our world partaking of the fruit of the Tree of Life, which is sweet and pure and white above all things.
The rod of iron represents the straight path required by the Holy Scriptures to reach eternal life. the field represents our world. the river of filth represents all human kinds' pollutions both physical and spiritual. The vapor of darkness represents many false and self-destructive trails human kind choose to take. The great and spacious building represents the pride of our world.
The eyes of darkness represent Satan's rule over the proud and vain of our world. The pressure placed by these eyes gives the illusion that they are the most powerful force in the tree of life. This look of pride coming from these eyes is what persecutes the poor and meek of life through scorn, cruelty and belittlement.
Notice how the power of our Father's love (represented by
twelve rays of light) though less noticeable than the eyes of pride, cut deep through those same eyes. The two hands grasping the base of the rod of iron represent all races being invited to come unto truth.
