The above sculpture is 1ft by 1ft and weighs 2 lbs. It is a 2-dimensional sculpture, called "Living Bread" and is sold with the accompanying poem "When Christmas Comes:.
Living Bread is dedicated to the Christ. The Christ is kneeling, showing the importnace of humitlity and prayer in all our lives. The seven loaves mean that I need the food found through the Holy Scriptures every day of each week I live. The three fish add balance between the body, heart and mind. The Sea of Galilee behind Christ is calm representing the calm our Lord has upon all troubled and sin-tossed souls. The three birds off Christ's right shoulder represent the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, together in direction and purpose, yet separate distinct personages. The three lines off the left shoulder represent our Father's perfect balance in and through all life forces. The clouds represent the unsure condition of this physical existence we call life. John 6:51 is the scripture where the message upon the basket came from.
Purchase price for Living Bread is $12,000.00. Half the purchase price will be donated to P.E.A.C.E., a non-profit corporation.
